Rev. VICTORIA GERMANICA Victory advancing right, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond over her left shoulder. Cohen -. Eauze -. Hunter -. RIC -. Extremely rare and of great numismatic interest. Lightly toned. Flan cracks and with traces of overstriking, otherwise, good very fine.


What makes this coin particularly interesting, aside from its great rarity, is that it was overstruck on a denarius of Severus Alexander, with traces of his portrait and name still visible on the obverse.
